Bought 100 reposts after using the shares package last month. Reposts actually pushed the reel to explore tab on a few profiles, shares barely moved the needle. Attribution was visible, delivery took around 6 hours.
Instagram introduced the native Repost feature on August 6, 2025: a viewer can repost your post or reel directly to their feed and to a dedicated Reposts tab on their profile, with permanent attribution back to your account. This service delivers premium reposts from real accounts to a public post or reel URL, aiming to increase the engagement of that post.
How the Instagram Repost Feature Works (Aug 2025 Launch)
Before August 2025, Instagram had no native repost button. Users had to manually screenshot and re-share, which was clunky and rarely visible past their immediate followers. The current Repost feature lives next to the comment button on every post and reel: tap the two-circular-arrows icon, then choose "Repost to Feed". The repost appears in the reposter's followers' feed, lands on a dedicated Reposts tab on the reposter's profile, and sends a notification to the original creator.
Reposts behave differently from DM Sends and Story Shares in three measurable ways. Sends drop your post into one private inbox and stay there. Story Shares add your post to the resharer's 24-hour Story and disappear after the window closes. Reposts place your post into a public feed permanently, attributed visibly to your account, until the reposter removes it.
Where Reposts Land on the Reposter's Profile
Each repost appears in the resharer's main grid AND on a separate Reposts tab on their profile. The Reposts tab is visible to anyone visiting the resharer's profile and lists every post they have ever reposted, with direct links back to the original creator. This is the closest Instagram product to UGC-style amplification: your post becomes part of someone else's public profile, not just a transient signal.
Why Reposts Carry More Reach Weight Than Shares
A DM Send delivers your post into one inbox. A Repost places your post into a public feed seen by every follower of the reposter, and through profile attribution it becomes the reposter's own public sharing. Reposted content acquires one of the strongest engagement signals available in this way.
Across our work since 2019, repost-driven reach has consistently produced the largest single-action audience expansion of any engagement service we operate. A post with a high number of reposts reaches comparable audience size to a post with many times more likes, but the reposts generate genuine new followers because each new viewer arrives through peer recommendation rather than passive feed exposure.
The Originality Rule: Why Repost Counts Do Not Just Stack
Instagram's December 2025 algorithm update added a penalty for accounts that repost 10 or more times in a 30-day window: those accounts get excluded from recommendation surfaces (Explore, Reels For You) until their original-to-repost ratio rebalances. The penalty applies to the reposter, not the original creator, but it affects which repost sources actually deliver reach lift.
Our team developed this service in a way that the same content is never reposted by the same user account repeatedly. This is designed to extract maximum value from the repost engagement without crossing the originality rule. In practice, this is the central quality difference between premium repost services and cheap ones. Cheap services repost from a pool of accounts that have already hit the originality penalty, so the repost count rises but the reach does not.
When to Buy Reposts Instead of Shares or Likes
The general purpose of the repost service is to raise the engagement rate of your profile and content and to help Instagram's algorithm deliver the content to more users. Reposts are one of the strongest engagement methods. When you want to reach an audience beyond your followers, reposts are an effective approach.
Product Launches Needing Cold-Start Audience
A new product announcement needs reach past your existing customer list. Reposts deliver fresh audiences quickly and increase trust at the discovery stage compared to direct brand-channel exposure. They also trigger the algorithm to deliver the content to a wider audience.
Musicians Releasing New Tracks
Music release posts need viral velocity in the first 48 hours to feed the streaming algorithm's discovery surfaces. Reposts amplify the release across multiple follower networks simultaneously, generating the listener spike that streaming platforms reward.
Viral Content Creators Trying to Break Out
A post that initially gained traction but whose reach stalled or slowed down can re-enter the ranking system through repost-driven distribution. Reposts inject the post into fresh feed environments where the velocity signal can rebuild, sometimes restoring the ranking momentum the post lost after the initial test phase.
Brand Campaigns Pursuing UGC-Style Credibility
Repost counts bring social proof and social endorsement along with them. Brand posts amplified through real-account reposts read like user-generated endorsement, which converts at higher rates than direct brand-channel content. The repost attribution functions as social proof embedded in the discovery flow rather than overlaid on the brand's own feed.
How Reposts Differ from DM Shares and Story Reshares
A DM Share sends your post into a private conversation between two users. A Story Share adds your post to the resharer's 24-hour Story, where it is visible only during that window. A Repost places your post publicly into another user's feed and onto their Reposts tab, where it lives until the reposter removes it.
The algorithmic value reflects this difference. Shares are a strong velocity signal but stay private. Story reshares are visible but short-lived. Reposts are both a velocity signal and a durable reach extension at the same time, which is why Instagram treats reposted content with the highest distribution priority among the three actions.
How the Service Works
Three steps to place an order:
- Copy the post URL. Open the public Instagram post or reel, tap the share icon, and select "Copy Link". Reels and feed posts both work; the URL pattern is https://www.instagram.com/p/XXXXXX/ or https://www.instagram.com/reel/XXXXXX/.
- Select a repost package. Packages run from 25 to 2,500 reposts. Even small premium packages produce meaningful reach expansion because each repost is a fresh feed placement.
- Sequential delivery begins. Each repost is placed individually onto your post over the active delivery window. Sequential placement means each repost is treated as a discrete delivery action, so completion takes longer than batch services. Start time may extend up to 24 hours during high-volume periods.
